Frequently Asked Questions

How do I track an Instagram post?

Copy the Instagram post URL (e.g. https://www.instagram.com/p/ABC123), paste it into the tracker above, and click “Track Post”. The tool will automatically fetch the engagement metrics.

What metrics can I track?

You can track likes, comments, shares, reposts, views, and saves for any public Instagram post. Some metrics like shares, reposts, and saves may require a paid Instagram data API for full data. See the setup FAQ below for details.

Can I track multiple posts at once?

Yes! Add as many posts as you want by pasting their URLs one at a time. All tracked posts are displayed in a table with their metrics, and you can export them all as a CSV report.

Can I export the tracking data?

Yes, click the “Export CSV” button to download a spreadsheet with all tracked posts and their metrics, including KOL username, platform post links, posting sequence, and full engagement data.

Do I need an Instagram account?

No, you do not need an Instagram account. The tool works with public Instagram post URLs. For more reliable data access, you can optionally configure a RapidAPI key.

How do I get shares, saves, reposts & views data?

Instagram does not publicly expose shares, saves, reposts, or view counts. To track all 6 metrics, sign up for a paid Instagram scraper API on RapidAPI (e.g. “Instagram Scraper API 2”, “Instagram Data”, or “Instagram Bulk Profile Scrapper”). Then set the RAPIDAPI_KEY environment variable in your Vercel project settings. The tool will automatically try multiple RapidAPI scrapers for the most complete data.
